August 2026 - Association of Animal Artists, Charity Auction 2026

I am very proud to be supporting this year's Association of Animal Artists Charity Auction.

You can bid on my work, and other members work online throughout August 2026 and help us raise money for our charity partner, Wildwood Trust.

I am of course also thrilled that one of my artworks was used to create the official announcement, as can be seen here 🙂

July 2026 - Exhibition Wildlife Art, group exhibition

I'm incredibly honoured to have a selection of my wildlife artworks accepted into this year's "Exhibition of Wildlife Art" (EWA).

My work is available for purchase as part of this year's online gallery. More than 600 original artworks by some of today's leading wildlife artists were included in this year’s show, and in the online gallery.

Thank you to the organisers for including my work. Every opportunity like this is a reminder that art has the power to connect us; not only with each other, but with the wildlife that inspires and depends on us.

July 2026 - CatzRus Annual Art Exhibition, fundraising event

I donated three of my paintings to Catz R Us SA for this year's fundraising Art Exhibition. They are an NPO, focusing on orphaned, abandoned & abused kittens in Pretoria, South Africa.

I am very pleased to share that all of my paintings were sold, and that the proceeds went to this very worth cause.

"I thought you would like to know that all three your paintings went home together as a 'triple adoption' to a lucky CatzRus Sappawter! Thank you for your part in making it special and supporting our work!"

June 2026 - To The Moon and Beyond, Group Exhibition, Johan van Heerden Art Gallery

'Where Giants Walk by Moonlight I & II', have been selected to be part of the To The Moon and Beyond group exhibition at JVH Art Gallery!

The exhibition runs from the 7th to the 28th of June 2026.

It is truly a privilege to be part of this great group of artists, and to be represented by this wonderful gallery.

June 2026 - Watercolor Golden Brush, International virtual watercolor competition-exhibition

I am proud to be one of the three South African artists whose artwork was selected to be part of this annual online exhibition.

May 2026 - Black & White,  Online exhibition

I received an Excellence Award for my ink drawing of White Rhinos, titled 'Quiet Titans'.

The Black & White show is an online exhibition, by the Áccent Gallery which runs monthly online exhibitions built around chromatic concepts and contemporary visual language.

March 2026 - Accent Gallery - Ivory & Azure show, International Juried Online Art Exhibition

Striations and Strife has been awarded the Gold Award in Áccent Gallery’s 'Ivory & Azure' online exhibition - the highest recognition within the show.

I am grateful that this piece, born from layers of tension and quiet resilience, was seen for its strength and clarity within the restrained colour language of ivory and blue.

I feel both honoured and deeply grateful, and I am happy to share that my watercolour 'Sunlit Crown Of South Africa' has officially been selected as one of 20 artworks, which will represent South African and Zimbabwean artists at FabrianoInAquarello 2026.

Connect Through Colour Art Exhibition

10 Oct – 8 November 2025

My painting, ‘Spirit of the Painted Wolf’ was selected for inclusion in the Connect through Colour group exhibition, presented at 33BREE in collaboration with The Artists Gallery, in Cape Town, South Africa.

This exhibition brings together 50 vibrant artworks selected from across South Africa, as part of an Open Call, and I am delighted that my work is among those celebrated.

Oct 2025 – No More Than 4 Competition

I am happy to report that my artwork “Echoes Of Lowveld 1” was awarded 4th place in Watercolour Art Southern Africa’s “No More Than 4” art competition.

This WASA members’ competition was all about working with a limited palette, by using no more than 4 colours. The judges were Chris Reid from South Africa and President of WASA, Jan Min from Holland, Dylan Scott Pierce and Soon Warren from USA.

A huge thank you to Watercolor Art Southern Africa (WASA), the judges, and the sponsors of this members ‘competition, and a special thank you goes to Artland, who sponsored my prize.

It’s always an honour to have my work recognized and displayed alongside other superb artists as can currently be seen online.
