Contemporary Animal & Wildlife Art for collectors who value emotional connection, sophisticated design, and art with a meaningful conservation purpose.
Every artwork begins with an encounter with animals or nature and evolves into an expressive exploration of colour, movement and emotion. Painted in South Africa, each original artwork invites collectors to experience wildlife and companion animals not simply as something to observe, but something to feel.
I'm Martli Heyns. Welcome to my little corner of the art world!
Inspired by the vibrant colours, diverse wildlife, and landscapes of South Africa and beyond, my work reflects both a deep admiration for nature, and my commitment to conservation.
I invite you to explore my site and to discover the stories I tell through my art.
My commitment to conservation
As an artist inspired by the breath-taking landscapes and diverse wildlife of our world, I feel a deep responsibility to contribute to conservation. The beauty I capture on canvas is fragile, and it’s facing unprecedented threats. That’s why a portion of every artwork sale is dedicated to organizations on the front lines of animal protection, rescue, and conservation.
