The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC) stands as a testament to dedicated conservation efforts. Their team is working tirelessly to protect and rehabilitate animals facing extinction.
Returning to the Hoedspruit area in 2024 and again in 2025 has been a truly magical experience, especially after my last visit was in 1981. While much has changed, I’m grateful that vast stretches of this wilderness have been conserved, preserving its timeless essence.
